31st October We weren’t meant to be here - a twist of fate ensured we did and we are all delighted. What a great location – all the staff so very helpful – smiles all round. We really hope to come back Angela, Andrew & Tilly Willow Cottage1/08/08 We feel so lucky to have discovered this holiday home, it is a fabulous place to stay for both facilities and location. Thanks for making us so welcome and for your good advice, it’s a great introduction to the Gower and we’d love to return. It has provided a wonderfully well equipped base which has realy eased the difficulties of holidaying with young children! The views are stunning. I don’t know who enjoyed themselves the most- probably Rooly who enjoyed meeting new canine friends in a place we felt able to let her off her lead –thank you. This is so much more than just somewhere to sleep, the views are amazing and the facilities were 1st class. Andrew was so helpful in assisting us to plan our days out and cooking spectacular breakfasts!! Can’t wait to come back next year for a longer break with our surfboards! Suzie & Rob, Southampton 28/08/2009 The cottage has been a comfy base to return to each day and the tumble dryer was a God-send! Great body-boarding at Llangenith beach and kayaking at Oxwich. Three-Cliffs Bay is stunning-great views and coast walk from Southgate. Good food at the Britannia, Llanmadoc, Kings Head at Llangenith and Greyhound at Oldwalls. Brilliant views all around in Gower from ridge on Cefyn-Bryn! Phil Alison, Andrew, Heather and Gem, Northamptonshire 26-30/10/2009 A luxury place this was. We all thoroughly enjoyed it. I especially enjoyed the fact the tellies were in our bedrooms! The surf was awesome at Rossilli Bay. Recommend to walk Worms Head as it was a great experience. Very friendly people! Tennis courts were fab! Pub next door was delicious-have the mixed grill-yum! The kitchen was very posh, the leather sofas were very comfortable. It’s great to get away from all the stress! The cottage was lovely, surpassed our expectations – sad to leave but happy to come again – can’t wait! Our two boys in particular fell in love with Riley – Goodbye Riley and thanks to both families for such a lovely holiday. 11/08/08 Thank you so much for offering us a roof over our heads following our aborted camping effort! We were so pleased to leave the dripping tent for two nights and relax in the wonderful comforts of Rose Cottage. Back to camping tonight! However following such a lovely friendly experience I am sure we will be back. The children loved it especially your dogs. Despite the weather the beaches have been great. Surfing was great too. Simon, Andrew and team have been very helpful. We recommend the Greyhound Pub for dinner, Rhossili Bay for surfing and Oxwich Bay too. The dogs have been great entertainment for all of us. The tennis court was really good fun! Above all a relaxed and friendly welcoming from our hosts Andrew & Simon. We wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend. A wonderful base for walking along the valleys woodlands and beaches. Billy (the dog) I have had a great time playing with my best mates Riley & Alfie, Milly & Merlin plus Monty. I will really miss all of my mates and the ponds that I dived into. Livvie – I have really enjoyed staying here and I have been doing lots of exciting things. That includes body boarding, walking along the beach and riding and tennis. It was great fun. Livvie Mary & Peter – 5* cottage, friendly hosts, so much space for children and dogs…. Great holiday, didn’t even notice the rain!!! Will be back..
